The Information’s org charts are a reader favorite. Today we’re giving Creator Economy readers a mini version, with this map of Spotter’s C-Suite. Why are we starting with Spotter? Primarily because the three-year-old startup, which offers creators upfront financing in exchange for licensing their backlog of YouTube videos, has been on a hiring spree from companies including Meta Platforms and YouTube.
This year, it made at least three senior appointments. And as of August, the startup has seven employees with C-Suite titles who report to founder and CEO Aaron DeBevoise. It also has more than 10 vice presidents, heads or directors, some of which report into the C-Suite. That’s a large leadership team for a young startup.
