Drake Rehfeld, a principal at Day One Ventures, has had a ring-side seat on the rise of the creator economy. He joined the early-stage venture firm two years ago from NTWRK, a video-shopping startup that had bought his startup Demeanor.co, which helps creators build digital and physical brands. Rehfeld had also led product and engineering at Jake Paul’s Team 10, an incubator for social media influencers.
At Day One, Rehfeld has led investments in startups including Trading.TV, which provides live streaming and chat services for creators making content about finance; Launch House, a startup that facilitates collaboration between founders and creators; Infinite Canvas, which helps metaverse creators develop experiences in games like Roblox; and Fanfix, a startup that lets creators charge fans to access bonus content.
